We are seeking a highly motivated and capable support engineer to provide technical assistance to our customers. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in VoIP Communications and preferred exposure to testing and supporting VoIP systems. In this role, you will be responsible for providing technical support to clients and customers, troubleshooting complex issues, training peer level support team members and ensuring the highest level of customer satisfaction.

The candidate must show proficiency using VoIP/IP signaling and media troubleshooting tools such as Wireshark, IP Scanner, PuTTY, IPconfig, Traceroute, Netstat and others. Some experience with Linux and commands, knowledge of TLS signaling and certificates provisioning will be preferred. Proven track record of technical customer support is required. 

Key Responsibilities

  • Interface with Software Director to take over key field troubleshooting and some sustaining responsibilities
  • Provide technical support to clients and customers via phone, email and remote access
  • Respond to customer inquires in a timely and professional manner
  • Troubleshoot regular and complex issues related to VoIP communication products and services
  • Document customer interactions and support activities in a clear and concise manner
  • Continuously improve knowledge of VoIP communication technologies and products
  • Prepare training material to train peers, reseller partners and customers


  • 2-4 years of experience in VoIP Communication system testing and customer support
  • Strong knowledge of IP, VoIP, SIP and related technologies
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Strong communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Familiarity with CRM and ticketing systems


Bachelor’s or Associate Degree in Computer Science or Information Technology or equivalent field experience is fine
